Awesome price. Though they added so much post production film grain (and darkened the image) I find it unwatchable. It looks like a 5th generation copy on YouTube or something. It's amazing how bad a recently filmed production can look.
Yeah, not sure why Ronald Moore, decided they wanted this post processed look. I guess they think it looks 'gritty' and less civilized than other big earlier scifi shows like TNG. I really hate that intentionally grainy desaturated look. Thank goodness Spielberg has moved out of that phase.
Image all the weaknesses of the super 4k pixel density showing the flaws on all these shows. 4k is about the worst thing that can happen to a television show, and many movies as well. The threads are already showing on the Star Trek Blu's.
