Wow! North used a rejected RAT PATROL pilot theme for the theme of the 1968 film THE DEVIL'S BRIGADE. Great effectiveness in both venues. Like Goldsmith using a rejected love theme from ALIEN NATION for the classic theme to THE RUSSIA HOUSE. And a Perry Mason theme in THE SAND PEBBLES! Seems like he also used a rejected pilot theme for the main title of ESCAPE FROM THE PLANET OF THE APES, if I remember correctly. This is really cool to see the evolution of such things! Great CD. Can't get enough RAT PATROL. SCOTT
