Jerry Goldsmith composed the score to the 1964 western, RIO CONCHOS. Lyrics were added by Bernie Wayne to create this song performed by Rena Strober. Mike Farrell mans the piano

Rena is seeing this music for the first time, sight reading it with all the seething passion the song deserves.

This is from a series of recordings of obscure sheet movie sheet music from the collection of Richard Kraft.

My holy grail of sheet music books is a Jerry Goldsmith collection with pieces like that and many, many more.

That's a whip? My problem with that recording has always been the whip. Now Morricone's whips sounds like a whip Rena can get into:
