Ennio Morricone wrote an insanely great score for the 1966 Spaghetti Western, THE BIG GUNDOWN. The theme was turned into the song, SOMEWHERE with lyrics by Audrey Nohra.

Here singer Stephen Van Dorn sight-reads the tune with improvised interpretive dance by Rena Strober and Sandy Nuss. Mike Farrell is on the piano.

This is the second part of a series of a bunch of of goofing off one day going through a stack of obscure movie sheet music from the collection of Richard Kraft.

I've been a fan of your recordings for quite a while. But this one threw me for a loop. I've known this song since I was pretty young as "Run Man Run" with ...somewhere there is a land... being it's intro. So on this sheet music the intro IS the song? Unusual.

I think it's one of the best, although I'm not sure about your silent women with their waving arms! I guess it makes it a little more interesting.
