For those who are coming to this event I live near the Bridge and do many activities in the vicinity. Most often I have lunch at the Wilson Harding golf course and take hikes up above in Griffith Park. As you see on this map the Golf clubhouse's location in relation to where The Bridge is (San Fernando Road near Wilson). My favorite hike is to Bee Rock which has a pretty nice vantage point over Glendale. Two years ago when it was at the Beverly Garland I took Thor and Nils up on the western observatory side of Griffith Park. this year the eastern side features the Zoo and the Autry Western Heritage Museum, being a member I get a guest or two in. give me a heads up if you are interested

I can heartily recommend Griffith Park and the Griffith Observatory! A beautiful place with a stunning view. The trip up there with Henry and Thor was my favorite non-film music-related activity during my FFM trip to LA two years ago (in fact, I went back up there a few days later and hiked further up to the top of Mount Hollywood - also recommended!)

Great line-up, Peter. Looks like it's going to be an epic event.

I just hope I make it through it! These events Josh wear me out BEYOND BELIEF. I'm so exhausted afterwords. BUT hearing from the fans and the composers who, I hope, have a great time actually gives me the strength and let's me know all the hard work was worth it.

Wish you and Holly could come.

I just noticed that John Scott will be there. Now that is especially interesting. I hope he gets some good questions.
