Somehow I can´t find a thread about this marvelous score.

Which must be remedied. Anybody else loving this?

Yes!! Just wish it wasn't so chopped up on soundtrack. Forget about playing this on shuffle. But the score sounds fresh and enjoy it even more after finally seeing the movie. Fits the film like a glove.

This was the best movie of 2013.

One of my colleagues in the film magazine I'm writing for went absolutely nuts over this score. Personally, I don't like it that much, but it has some highlights.

I enjoyed this score a lot more than I've enjoyed many of HZ's recent scores and those of his colleagues because it gave the film it's own feel and identity. It reminded me of Days of Thunder. Whilst that wasn't a great film, the score had atmosphere.

Sorry! But the Search Function did not bring it up either for "Rush" or "Hans Zimmer". I should have tried "Zimmer´s Rush". Can the mods combine these threads?

I thought Zimmer's score for Rush worked marvelously within the film. The occasionally heroic music comes in at just the right points to raise the film to new heights. On the album though I find it is not very enjoyable. The only real highlight for me is the heroic theme so I would probably stick to one cue if I ever saved it. Since I don't listen to small parts of scores I didn't bother keeping this one around.

I finally saw the film, which was quite good even though I'm not at all interested in Formula 1.

The score was very good, as I thought it would be. But it seems like the CD is very expensive now. Anyone know of a place where the price is not too steep?

There's a couple at amazon.com marketplace which is are not too expensive:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00E7NIMZ6/ref=tmm_acd_used_olp_sr?ie=UTF8&condition=used&qid=1546158409&sr=1-1

(Except if you live outside of the USA, because then shipping makes it expensive again...)
