I have a question about track 21 "Victory". My daughter bought a brand new copy of this for me some time ago and I just got around to playing it today. When it got to this particular track, the music started off as what I can only describe as "off kilter" but then sounded perfect. Is this a problem with my own copy of the release or has anyone else noticed this? I wish I could describe the issue better but cannot find the right words at the moment. Wobbly maybe lol?

Don't get me wrong! I love this score and in the process of purchasing the Kritzerland version but I wanted to ask about this in the meantime. Thanks

Haven't spun it in awhile, but that track is in the bonus tracks section of the release. I recall that those tracks were put there because they were damaged and couldn't be further improved at the time of the release. (Maybe see the liner notes?) I recall hearing that the Kritzerland release addressed many of these issues.

Hi Chris,

That makes a lot of sense. I was wondering whether I had a bad copy. I appreciate your comments.

If memory serves, the FSM releases of "The Towering Inferno" and "Beneath the Planet of the Apes" also contain tracks with this "off-kilter" sound. I believe in those cases, the track titles are followed by the description "(damaged)". It's been quite a while since I heard those discs, but those damaged tracks might have even been moved out of their chronological place in the playing sequence and put at the end (like bonus tracks) so as not to disrupt the flow of the presentation.
