I had this up a while back. For those who may have missed and are interested.
Last section of the CBS Radio Romance episode called THE GUITAR and featuring the latin flavored guitar score by a young Jerry Goldsmith. Announcer credits him at the end.
Fun to hear his early Spanish Latin flavored style music that he would later expand on in films like 100 RIFLES, BANDOLERO, BREAKOUT and so many more.
In his CBS Radio days early mid 1950's the announcer actually did credit him as Jerry Goldsmith.
First Feature film BLACK PATCH he was Jerry Goldsmith, but on FACE OF A FUGITIVE and DR. KILDARE he suddenly was Jerrald Goldsmith. Then he went back to Jerry. Go figure.
If a specialty label puts out all the Radio music of Jerry Goldsmith including "Frontier Gentleman" "Romance", etc., there Will be the chance of a "Complete" Jerry Goldsmith scores on CD one day!
