OK, I see. I wouldn't mind a reissue for those of you who missed the FSM CD the first time around. But it was already expanded in the first place -- for those of you who crave that -- so I don't know what else beyond a reissue you could want?
I agree with Jim Doherty regarding "A.I." in its commercial release. The 13-track commercial release -- 60 minutes, plus two songs not in the movie -- in my opinion, hardly scratched the surface of this brilliant score. The 'For Your Consideration' 2-CD set was a revelation. It contained nearly 110 minutes of pure score, including a few cues dialed out of the movie before Warner issued a second shorter version -- a little over 60 minutes, no songs -- that included only music in the film mix, per AMPAS rules. When you hear the 110-minute version, the music just takes flight. It starts very strange and intimate, slowly opens up to David's unusual and nightmarish adventure, and then climaxes with the final stage of his transcendental journey. It's an epic and emotional experience. Or at least it was for me.

The Towering Inferno
Well I'd be OK with just a re-issue, but whoever's going to do it might as well re-master it, as technology has come on a lot in the past 14 years, they may be able to use some tracks that were unusable at the time (I'm sure I can remember reading that they had to use some of the LP tracks), & throw in the LP version & you have a two-disc release.
Why wouldn't they? No harm in hollerin' loud as you can for what you can. As to whether or not the 'gang' represents a true slice of the pie - who can tell?
I'm also hopping on the bandwagon for a complete A.I. lol hopefully it will include all the Joseph Williams source music
A runner-up I would nominate is Minority Report
Lastly, while this has already been 'expanded', I would love to see a complete Close Encounters of the Third Kind; added incentive would be to bring it back on the market, since the expanded Arista release is now OOP
