I just thought someone might get a kick out of this. Last night I had one of the great thrills of my life premiering a new song written by Richard M. Sherman and - ME. We premiered it at our April Kritzerland show - our very own Morricone (Henry Stanny) and CLafong (Marshall Harvey) were in attendance. I cannot tell you how much fun we had. The story of how we came to write this is in my introduction to the song.

Love it! Just a kind of uplifting, joyful song that made the Sherman Brothers so unique; catchy melody and clever lyrics. Thank you Mr Kimmel.

Wonderful Bruce! That made my day! BTW, I am a HUGE kazoo fan! Thanks for sharing the mirth and joy that only you and the Sherman Brothers can bring us.

I was there to congratulate him personally!

....and so can anyone in the area. This is part of his monthly Kritzerland shows, which are amazing and he does them every first sunday of the month. I have reviewed many of them when they are film related. This particular show had ten people taking bows at the end and, being an April Fool's show, had lots of comedy.

I initially went to his very first show over 3 years ago just to show support for him and his label. But, damn, his shows were so good I was hooked. Fantastic guest performers (everyone from Lainie Kazan to Lea Thompson) with a very cool dinner beforehand. Bruce provides the intros that are not just funny, they are informative. And there are usually at least 5 singers so if you don't care for one, the next song will be by someone you will.

BTW I am writing strictly for the benefit of you guys out there. Bruce does not need more customers, he sells out almost EVERY time. I am just saying you are missing out if you don't try it at least once! Ask those who have!

The next one, a Cole Porter extravaganza, is on May 4th. Reserve early.

BTW Guy Haines has a worse no-show tally than Morricone.

Thank heaven Bruce is there to cover for him.

Thanks to all! I think we're going to publish sheet music for it shortly and it will have its first recording this July.

Utterly fabulous, will gladly buy it when you release it. Hopefully Bruce with you singing it.

But does does that video make me wish I was able to attend your shows, it's a shame that you couldn't sell/release them for those of us that like Musical style numbers but are living in foreign lands.
