I happened upon this CD in my collection last night and gave it a spin. I had played it before but couldn't really remember what it was like. It's got some nice, low-key tracks written in a Carter Burwell/Mark Isham style, with a slight Irish lilt. There are quite a few Irish-sounding tracks on the CD, from Van Morrison singing an opening song, to Pierce Brosnan warbling away on a few tracks and some jigs thrown in for good measure. An aquired taste, I suppose, but I did like a few of the sad/melancholic tracks that permeated the album by Endelman. I might gather them together for my mp3. Thoughts?
