I fail to understand the rancor at Craig. It is not logic-based. He's just the actor.
Should this thread not have been prefaced with a picture of the directors, producers and screenwriters giving us the finger? After all, they themselves are directly responsible for selecting the cast and their chosen performance in the editing room. Or is that too much objectivity and intelligence to expect?
Anyway, and I don't mean to threadcrap, it seems like this whole thread was an attempt at humor by taking a photo out of context and giving it a "new" one... and the humor just didn't pan out. So it is perhaps better that guns be re-holstered at this point.
(The literary Bond and the cinematic Bond are and always will be two completely different beasts and nothing will change that.)
