Anyone currently enjoying his lilting score to the BBC Dr Who drama An Adventure In Space And Time should check out his score to this British romantic drama from a few years back.
It's pretty cheap on ebay or Amazon and has a good selection of score tracks (between 30-40 minutes) plus some songs to help add a spot of diversity to the overall sound (one song is based on one of Butt's themes). I think the CD totals around 55 minutes.
I've never seen the film, but the music is really quite lovely.
It's nothing revelatory, guitar, piano and strings dominate and if you like the romantic/contemporary scores by John Powell, JNH and Thomas Newman, I dare say this will be right up your street.
Butt has a nice gift for melody and his themes are memorable and quite well developed.
Recommended (by me anyway) smile

I'dike to see more if his scores released. State if play uk and survivors 2007-9. Unlike Zimmer does not do enough self promotion or releasing of work. I'd like the metal box(see superman) for state of play
