How much would this likely cost when it gets on iTunes? I bought the original set (15 YEARS AGO?! frown ) and remember it was pricey, but $75 is just too much.

And I don't really agree about the Casio vibe, at least not Levay's (and Harpaz's) originals. I think I still consider Levay my favorite film composer.

Sorry, let me clarify, am referring only to the rerecording, since I've not heard the original. I do loves me some Levay at times. His contributions to Three O'Clock High were even better than the TD score. Levay's Cobra is a thick, dark score and that one, as well as some of his other GREAT td styled score, need some kind of release !

I agree. I'd also like to see expanded versions of the Three O'Clock High soundtrack and Cobra. Have you heard the soundtrack to Medicopter 117? It's on ITunes but the quality isn't very good. It sounds wispy like a bad 128kbps encode.

I got Medicopter from Amazon's MP3 store and it is pretty good. Some good variety there, some tracks have a TD or Zimmer feel, some are Bond styled brassy... lots of fun

I imagine, but don't quote me, that the 2-CD set will be somewhere in the region of $14.99 on ITunes. That's what I'd expect it to be or around £15.99 on Euro ITunes, so perhaps a bit more expensive on the US version. It's just guesswork based upon the existing price structures on there.

Expanded Three O'Clock High and Cobra? I thought there was very little music that has not been released? I mean, Skyline wasn't even in the film.

Agreed. Medicopter is a nice score. I'm glad I have some more recent Levay music like this in my colelction, and not just from the 80s/early 90s.

I haven't seen the movie Three O'Clock High, so I'm only speculating (hoping) that there's more material, or varying material that could be available. The music could do with being remastered as the quality isn't all that on my VS CD.

Cobra - the music is different from the CD, as you say. I prefer the CD versions. When I say "expanded" I don't mean an hour of additional music, but perhaps a couple more tracks from the movie soundtrack on a remastered CD similar to the reissue of Rocky IV (the album of songs not the DiCola reissue).

There's quite a bit of decent material in Cobra. At least 30 minutes of score. None of it (the film versions) released.

THis is very nice music to listen to in the car and the themes are not repetitive because they are al different. for the second cd. Iit also very nice to re view the episodes and see/listen how the music is used in the series.

but, the series haven't aged very well. Some stories are very thin. Nice when you are a 12 year old in the eighties.
I was more a blue thunder guy,.
is there any music available from that series? i mean the series not the movie
