Season finale tomorrow night, if anyone's still watching it. For me, it's been a true highlight of my existence.

A CD release of his reimagined Evil Dead would be very, very cool. I can't wait to hear what it sounds like. His music for Ash Vs. Evil Dead was fantastic. One of the most purely enjoyable albums I've heard in quite some time.

Orchestral or synth or mixture of both I wonder? Well, his original announcement said the new score would use "the sound of the same ensemble," so I'm assuming both. A CD release of his reimagined Evil Dead would be very, very cool. I can't wait to hear what it sounds like. You can hear a clip in that reunion video in the first post.

I'm hoping the re-recording and new score find their way to CD. The bizarre release for the Young Guns score (digital and LP only) has me worried. I've made peace with the fact that I'll probably have to buy CREEPSHOW 2 on vinyl, so if it's the only way to get this album, I'll have to deal with that, too.

So, anybody get it? For me, it's the release of the year, at least until Varese bring it out on CD (hopefully as originally announced with the re-recording on one disc and the new score on another, rather than this mix-and-match approach).

I'm starting to think A NIGHTMARE RE-IMAGINED ain't ever coming out on CD.
