I just got this with a small batch of other scores and it's the one getting the most play. Lovely music. There just isn't nearly enough Kaplan available on disc. I would love to see CDs of JUDITH and LIVING FREE, which I've had for years on LP, but my real Holy Grail is the totally unreleased WAY OF A GAUCHO. Kaplan's finest score IMHO. It's a Fox film so maybe there's hope.

We wondered about a possible connection to Star Trek, but at the time of Kaplan's TOS episodes, Desilu and Paramount were still separate companies—separated by a fence that would soon come down.

Speaking of Trek, the LP cue #8 "The Compound" at 1 minute in has a riff later used in "Enemy Within" when Kirk confronts his aggressive self on the bridge ("I'll kill you!" "Can half a man live?").

Which cue is this on the LLL TOS set?

Listened it again today - still great & "fresh" score for me.
After that I went to Intrada's site and read this:
LESS THAN 35 COPIES REMAINING!

So if you like 60s spy music - grab this one before it's too late!
