I am having a hellava time twisting the title around into a confusing clue. My time is not free right now and it just flies by with the butter. Oh, well, I tried.
YOU SAID IT, FINE ACTRESS, I loved her performance as RALPH KRAMDEN'S MOTHER IN LAW in one of THE FINAL HONEYMOONERS SPECIAL in the 70's. She hit it right on the mark with A line that totally broke me up. She is talking to ralph- For years I have been waiting for you to give my daughter a child. Just a kid who I could cuddle, take to the park and do things with. But every time I come through the door the only one who looks pregnant is you.[ha-ha-ha-ha]. A CLASSIC COMIC PERFORMANCE.
Enough! It's Butterflies Are Free 1972, & to be honest it's the kind of film I'd gladly pay to not see. The actor Edward Albert had a strange sort of plastic looking face.
Well to each one's own. I saw it as a slice of down to earth life about disability and youth trying to get over obstacles like fleeting love, dominant parents, with a ending that says a lot about love, commitment and responsibility. It had a uplifting ending which was nice but could have followed a tragic road, to common in life. The downfall of a level headed youth on the streets of New York.
