Five scores from David Raksin we're unlikely to see:
Apache (1954)
The Big Combo (1955)
Jubal (1956)
Al Capone (1959)
A Big Hand for the Little Lady (1966)

For various reasons, these five will never see the light of day in stereo from the "original" recording masters:
"The Sun Also Rises" -- Hugo Friedhofer
"El Cid" -- Miklos Rozsa
"Hawaii" -- Elmer Bernstein
"The High and the Mighty" - Dimitri Tiomkin
"The Mark of Zorro" -- Alfred Newman (not stereo, sadly....but all seems gone of what there was).
And a regretful sixth:
"The Big Country" -- some swear it was recorded in stereo, but no proof has ever been found of that, recording-wise.

Yes, there was 'proof' THE BIG COUNTRY was indeed recorded in stereo except I don't recall what website and/or thread.

The full score to "Damnation Alley" has not been released. As mentioned numerous times before, the synth parts of the score are missing; they have to turn up, or somebody has to be paid to recreate them, before a proper release of the score can occur.
That's why it's in a thread for "impossible-to-release scores".
