There's no information on the case except for copyright notices for IMC Music, which is a UK music production and engineering company, and Intermusic S.A., which is apparently a Swiss distributor.

This series has seriously gone crap for me between series 4 and 5.
I just watched the final ep of series 5 and I'm not sure I will bother returning for any more.
It's become painfully contrived and the stupidity of some of the writing is really starting to bug me.
Add to that it's gone REALLY slow and boring, the characters become more annoying with each passing week...well. I know it's getting bigger and bigger (record viewings, spin-off series) but for me the light has started to go out.

ive been enjoying it and didnt miss an episode.
although it has suffered from that thing u.s writers do - established sensible characters go on the clonk. like the robots in westworld they malfunction for two of three episodes, and get into unnecessary scrapes, and you just want them eaten. The reverend has been an irritating character since he appeared. as have several people already at the new fortress.
while rick and his seasoned group show breathtaking restraint, the rest of us twitch at home, baffled why they dont do the expedient thing.
todays weakness or generosity or dodgy judgment is tomorrows zombie bite in your arm.
its about time they all learned it!!

I'd be over the moon right now just with an explanation from AMC as to why they are not interested in releasing the original score. With the fan demand, I just don't see it.
I don't get it either. Makes no sense.

It is bizarre, to say the least, especially in these current climes, where virtually EVERYTHING is released in some format or other.
I still watch the series. I don't enjoy it as much as those earlier years, but it plods along, I suppose.
I'm curious to see 'the cull' that will no doubt take place in this next series, as Negan makes his mark.

I originally thought that AMC maybe just flat-out refused to release score during the show's run, but I looked and Mad Men had several before it ended, and Halt and Catch Fire has an album out now. Breaking Bad had a score album, but it came out close to the end of the show's run, if not after.
I can't think of another zeitgeisty show quite like this in recent memory - maybe Game of Thrones, which has been afforded 6 CDs now. It's rare that film score has a lot of crossover value to people who aren't "film score people," but Bear has had that kind of following in the past with BSG (my brother in law, for instance, has all the volumes), and this show is huge. It's kind of baffling that AMC seems to refuse this when there is $$$ to be made.

There were some really nice pieces of music in Season 6, which i just watched. Wish i could remember the moments among the gore, but i did think there was some standout stuff in there. I'd be interested in a CD, depending on what they would pick to go on it.
The show itself is abysmally plotted, repetitive and often badly written. Characters personalities are flipping back and forth seemingly at random. Everyone acts idiotically, the in-world rules that have been established either make no sense or are forgotten by the writers. Every situation they get in is horribly engineered and frequently baffling.
But like a zombie i am compelled to watch on (apparently). Especially if its the only way i can hear the music.
