Let's double-check some of the remaining materials to be released.
And please select some and explain why. Thanks for your input.

FILM SCORES (unreleased)
"Johnny Got His Gun"
"Junior Bonner"
"The Outfit" (C&C)
"The Outlaw Josey Wales" (original recording+album)
"The Gauntlet" (C&C)

News and old news:
Last year, someone mentioned the fact that The Outlaw Josey Wales will have a chance to get a release. Keep in mind LK works for many labels and that may help the process.
La-La Land implies they will issue a Fielding title in 2014.
Perhaps Quartet "may" have one title in the pipeline: who knows?

PS: Loren, don't worry.

I'd quite like some of his TV work, to be honest.

Kolchak would be glorious. I think Stefan would agree, seeing as he actually owns a seersucker jacket (for real).

Not only the seersucker jacket but the Panama hat too. Tony.

Item #1: people who enjoy the music from Kolchak will certainly appreciate a 1971 unsold pilot that Fielding composed entitled "Ellery Queen: Don't Look Behind You".

Item #2: "Ellery Queen: Don't Look Behind You" foreshadows "Firefall" (1974) from Kolchak.

Item #3: Intrada could released two telefilm scores from Fielding in the same fashion as Jerry Goldsmith's "A Step Out Of Line/The Brotherhood of the Bell". Do you dig?

My Fielding top 5 wish list looks like this

1) Junior Bonner
2) The Outfit (complete with all the alternates)
3) everything from McMillan
4) The Gaunlet (c&c)
5) a re-recording of Noon Wine (the orginal is most likely lost) ... I know, wishful thinking

Keep in mind LK works for many labels and that may help the process.

I don't think there's anybody who's done more to keep the Fielding legacy alive than Nick Redman.

Of course, Redman is a true blue asset to the advancement Fielding's corpus but LK is also a decision maker and a valuable enthusiast who has contributed a lot.

"Johnny Got His Gun" would fit.

Quartet did a marvelous job on the previous two scores!

... and JOHNNY GOT HIS GUN also has a connection with Spanish director Luis Buñuel (during its pre-production).

Thanks for the kind words!. We have two Fielding titles in the pipeline planned for 2014: one previously unreleased score in any form, and one expanded re-release.

Could the previously unreleased score be THE NUN AND THE SERGEANT?

Wow, that’s exciting news!

Okay my guess for the re-release would by “The Gauntlet” or “Advise & Consent”.
Both were album recordings so maybe we get the filmscore this time.

For the unreleased score I think “The Bad News Bears” could be a serious candidate.

Just don’t hope we’ll have to wait ‘till december!!!!

WHAT????????????
If it is so, I'll buy three (no, five!) copies of each title to support Quartet!
