1977? My experience of ADRIAN MESSENGER's music was very much like yours, but imagine how much it means to me now because I was fortunate enough to see the film on its very first theatrical release in the early Sixties, right around the time I was falling in love with Goldsmith on NBC-TV's THRILLER. How lovely when a dream finally comes true and you're still alive to enjoy t!

FWIW, a three CD set in a standard thick jewel case isn't really a box set. But that's being a bit pedantic perhaps...

To be frank, I hadn't heard exactly how it was going to be packaged, and I'm inclined to consider anything over two discs a "box set."

TLOAM made a huge impression on me as a kid -- it still creeps me out as an adult. And I'd second the recommendation for the Video Watchdog interview. That article/interview is a true eye opener if you are at all familiar with the film.

Now fingers tapping...waiting for the CD!
