Some of you may have heard of it already.

18 years after the release of the James Horner score, french pop star Nolwenn Leroy released the song "Homeland" based on the love theme from Braveheart.

Apparently the whole thing got James Horner's approval.

This a rare case of a song build years later around a "popular" tune. I can think of snippets of You only live twice in Robbie Williams' millennium and goldfinger in Licence to kill.

Anyway, this is a great song in my opinion !

Thoughts ?

I assume you mean as opposed to classical music, which happens ALL the time?

I say again as I have said my whole life, every MELODIC theme from a film should have at least one vocal version done on it. Now will someone sing KING KONG LIVES- JOHN SCOTT.
