I've now started my annual analyses of the year's Oscar nominees for Best Original Score. First up is Williams' The Book Thief, a score rich in subtlety:

Thanks for all your wonderful work on these analyses, Ludwig Van.

I turned to this one tonight because, after gushing about how moved I was by "Visitor At Himmel Street" on John Williams' birthday thread today, I realized I'd meant to read this analysis a while back and forgot to find the time.

I so enjoy what you accomplish with these, and it always sends me back to the music with fresh ears.
