I was just looking at the "popular culture" section of this Wiki page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christ_the_Redeemer_(statue) and I noticed that it doesn't list MOONRAKER. The statue is featured briefly in the film when Bond arrives in Rio, right? Is anybody here a Wikipedia member who can add this fact to the page? I go thru a proxy server at work that's blocked from creating an account. I don't remember whether the statue is in the movie or not, but you don't need an account to edit the page. You can just click on "edit" above whatever section you'd like to add to. Accounts let people see which non-anonymous users contributed what, track all a user's contributions, etc., so they might be useful (to some), but they're not exactly necessary. You can add whatever you'd like whether you're logged in or not. That said, I would wait until I could check the movie to be sure the statue does indeed appear in it, and I'd guess that when you're in a position to do so you'll be at home, so you could probably create an account then if you want one.
