There is a shortcut for this on the Mac. When you click on an album and the track listing comes up, hit the apple-a key combination to select all tracks. Then hit the apple-i key combination to bring up the "show info" box. The square to drag in your image file is there.

Yep works like a charm. Takes all of five seconds to add artwork once you have your image.

I'll deal you one better. Using cmd-A isn't necessary. Clinking the album and then cmd-I is enough.

Well, it worked for ME and I am VERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRY appreciative!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I was finally able to change the artwork on the 1st piano concerto of Sergei Bortkiewicz which has prevented me from putting it on CDs I've made for certain friends! Thanks.

Is there any way to get the old, full screen cover flow display back ?

The current Grid Display is totally pointless !

Thanks.

Nope. Apple got rid of it for no particular reason. A lot of users want it back but Apple doesn't care.

I currently use lightly compressed 1000x1000 artwork for my (lossless) music files, and the images are about 1/50th the size of the music data (a typical four-minute track), so they're pretty negligible.

Re-sizing nine hundred images to save the space of about half a dozen albums seems pretty crazy, considering that hard drives are extremely cheap these days!

I should've specified 2 GB of free space on my iPod. Comes to about 10 to 15 new albums @ 320. I'm just OCD about having my entire collection on it, so even that little bit made me very happy. wink

ChristianKühn: Re: "I'm just OCD about having my entire collection on it…"

I have way over 4,000 CDs as well as over 100 hybrid SACD/CDs, so there's no way I could get my entire music collection on just one 160GB iPod -- even if I wanted to do so. But, frankly, I don't think I'd want to have to deal with that much music on one iPod anyway!

I'm running 11.1.3 and I can paste artwork just fine ...

If you select all the tracks in an album (or even just multiple tracks) and then hit command-I or Get Info, you will get the Artwork box in the Info tab just as you used to.

You will NOT get the Artwork box in the Info window if you select only one track at a time.

Case closed Johnson!

I use iTunes Match so I don't even have to worry about keeping all of my music on my iPod anymore. ?? In fact, I really don't use myiPod anymore period. I listen on my iPhone. So since I don't have to worry about taking up space with album covers anymore, where is the best place to download album covers? Thanks.

You can get the original cover size back by clicking on the small image in the window at the top. It comes up as a separate larger window that can be moved anywhere on the screen. Not exactly the same thing, but better than nothing.

Thanks for the visual tutorial Robertmro. I was wondering how to do this just the other day. I'll have to try it out when my new CD's come in.
