Music performed by London Philharmonic Orchestra. Music recorded at Abbey Road Studios, London.
Note that after Tyler's credit, there's this interesting tidbit: "Additional Music By Danny Elfman". Elfman wouldn't get credited if they just tracked in his music, would he?
Wow, that crazy. Tyler was announced as the composer some time ago, and he just recorded his score a week or two back, right? Did Tyler just not have enough time to write?
Update: No, Tyler recorded in December. Maybe they needed more music and Tyler wasn't available?

Three possibilities -- they're using his Hulk theme (unlikely), Spidey will be making an appearance and they're bringing back the theme from the Raimi movies (even more unlikely), or they temped a scene with one of Elfman's cues and decided to stick with it. (most likely)

If they stick with the temp, which of course sounds believable, they wouldn't give a composer credit on the poster.
Recording session started today at Abbey Road Studios in London with London Philharmonic Orchestra !
Another waste of the London Philharmonic. Brian Tyler wrote a few decent themes for Thor The Dark World and Iron Man 3 but the orchestrations were disgustingly simplistic and I don't expect anything better for his Avengers score. You don't need the London Philharmonic to make an orchestra sound like one big epic hammer. Also I seriously hope we can one day get a release of one of these scores that doesn't have the bass cranked up like it always is on Tyler's releases all the way back to The Greatest Game Ever Played.

I'd call this most likely.
Tyler is the only Marvel composer to use someone else’s theme in his movie. He used Cap in Thor 2. (No, I’m not counting the Lonely Man in The Incredible Hulk.) So I could see him using Elfman’s music if Spidey made an appearance. I could also see Elfman getting credit for that on a poster.
