The Young Savages is definitely a great start to the new year! I've heard of The Young Savages, but can't wait for The Young Savages. Thanks for The Young Savages Intrada! Fixed again! And again!

Don't get excited. I was just making a riff on the previous joke posts by naming a probable future Intrada title not being released now at all. No inside information here.

....now if only we can get Transformers: Dark Of The Moon on a physical CD Bingo. This really oughtta be a reality. Hell I'd even go for expanded versions of all 3 scores. There...I said it. Me too, actually. Especially the first two. Wasn't really a fan of the third score, but as it hasn't had a physical release yet, why not?

I have DiCola's Transformers on a CDR, but it would be fun reading the liner notes on the new release.

There was in fact a later release in 2001 which DID include the three score tracks from the original album, but not the Legacy track, which was instead on a different CD that included some other demos/ideas along with (IIRC) audio of DiCola talking about them, or something. You're correct, TerraEpon. For anyone interested in the Legacy track(s)... The Protoform Sessions CD is still available. I missed both it and the Artistic Transformations CDs back when they were originally released in 2001, but found them a few months ago (June 2013) thanks to the forums here. Both CDs are still commercially available at the following links: http://www.tdrsmusic.com/ http://travisdickersonmusic.com/shop/ However, the the demo version on The Protoform Sessions is different from the version on the Till All Are One 2-CD set: TRACK 19, "Transition #9" ==================== Vince DiCola: "Here's a slightly earlier version of the piece Legacy, and there's one very important difference between this version and the final version, and I think it will be very obvious to you. You do have to wait through quite a bit of music to get to the section that's changed. I think you'll understand our reasons for making the change when you realize that this version was made only after we knew for certain that none of this music was gonna get used in the movie." ==================== The section in the "Legacy (Demo)" [~3:36-3:50] contains the following spoken lines using a vocoder: Anonymous Autobot (Vocoder #1): "Ultra Magnus, we now have the Decepticons in sight; please advise." Ultra Magnus (Vocoder #2): "They must be stopped at all costs. Autobots, transform!" This section in the final version on the Till All Are One 2-CD set [~3:40-3:55] has the spoken lines removed. One way to tell the difference is that Legacy from Till All Are One is [6:04] in length, whereas the Legacy (Demo) from The Protoform Sessions is [6:00] in length.
