This is my gift!

But 'cause we celebrate Christmas at January (if you want to know why, please read about Julian & Gregorian calendars), and it's not so huge holiday, as in Europe or USA (from USSR years New Year is the MAIN winter holiday in Russia), and as I have birthday at Dec. 29, I will open it next Sunday smile

You're supposed to wait a few days, you know (unless your list was one title like that guy who wanted Intrada's Cocoon)! Bad poster, bad...

I will tell you in 3 days, but that's a fun looking cover and I dig Velázquez' scores, is it a Goonies type movie? Enjoy.

I really understand barryfan - it's hard not to open it, especially if you already know, that is in package. And I have more seductive situation - my wish-list contained 10 (!) titles, so from this point of view I'll get really surprise gift, so I struggle with temptation for 4 days now big grin big grin big grin

That guy was me! I'm lovin' the hell out of it.

Mine contained 11 (and drivingmissdaisy very kindly sent a bonus CD* for which I thank him)!

*He already told me what it was. smile

Hehe. I don't blame you guys who opened your gifts early. If it weren't for all the awesome stuff that's been pouring in lately and occupying my CD player, I'd be really tempted myself.

So barryfan, now that you've "done the deed," how do you like the score?

Like Josh says, so much stuff arriving that its easier to ward off temptatio, but only just. smile

I am glad you are enjoying it!

I have yet to receive a package. Hopefully soon.

Also waiting with opening until the Christmas day. I had a wish list of 7 titles, all by the same composer!

There's also what...
Will power!
Restraint!!
Self control!!!
Resisting temptation!!!!

I have 2 presents,
One is a large box from LLL,
The other from my exchange Santa...
Haven't even thought about opening them early!

I've been biding my time with last year's big goodie:
STAR TREK OS Box,
I should be embarrass that I really didn't spin it much last year,
So I'm really appreciating how great LLL made last Christmas last year.

Anyway,
Shame!
Shame on you!!
&
Merry Christmas!!!!!! big grin

Excellent! I've read nothing but praise for both of those scores. I'll have to check them out. The only score by Velazquez that we own on CD so far is Devil, and it's pretty dark and heavy stuff. I thought the movie was pretty corny, though. I also saw Mama and enjoyed the score in the film (which was pretty creepy but not great); might have to pick that CD up eventually, too.

Do yourself a favor and get The Impossible. The lush cello theme is so romantically beautiful. That score alone made me start searching for more of his scores. I also got Garbo The Spy at FSM's MSM sale a while back, but haven't listened to it yet.

I was happy to find a package in the mail today.

I am looking forward to discovering what it is on Christmas morning and hope that everyone gets wonderful music.
