Hm. The track names are actually "(Episode Name), part 1", "part 2", etc. That's kind of disappointing. I hope they actually ending up giving separate names to the tracks so it's easier to match it to a point in the show.

I'm sure they will. But the producers probably don't want them released till after episode three airs. To keep things spoiler free.

The previous 2 soundtracks have proper track titles.

Didn't think of that! Track titles do at times provide massive spoilers.

I've just belatedly picked up the CDs for seasons 1&2 and have been enjoying the hell out of them, so I will probably be in for this set too. In the last week we exposed our now grown son to the first two seasons of SHERLOCK via NetFlix streaming and, needless to say, they hold up extremely well.
(It goes without saying that he loved them as much as we did.)

For those interested, it seems that there are actually tracktitles... but better wait after watching the final episode...

(Didn't really know where else to stick this post.)

I wonder if there was enough music in the SHERLOCK special "The Abominable Bride" for it to get its own CD release? And if not, will some of the score make it to the eventual series 4 album? There's certainly some good stuff in there.

I have a feeling the next release will be a 2 CD set with music from the TV film, and Series 4 - I think they've done something similar for Doctor Who in the past with specials.

With DOCTOR WHO, "A Christmas Carol" got a stand-alone release. There was less music in "The Doctor, The Widow and The TARDIS" and "The Snowman" and they got a combined release. "The Time Of The Doctor" and "Last Christmas" got a CD each to themselves, but within releases covering other things ("The Day Of The Doctor" in a 2 CD release with "Time...", "Last Christmas" in series 8.)

It'll be interesting to see what happens.

were not the previous releases import only?
or, am I confusing it with MERLIN?
