Weeeeell... After Bruce said at John Barry's Facebook group that he had tape for years, packaging is done, master is done, everyone already dance a jig!
Have many people actually heard that work? Or is it desired because it's Barry and it's rare and would be fascinating just to finally hear?
Being a big Barry fan, it's the latter for me- and I'd probably purchase it whether a few scant samples click with me right away or not.
It sure would be nice to know if people who've actually heard it maintain a high opinion of it, though.
Lolita, My Love is great - it's just about the only show I would EVER consider putting out from a soundboard recording. Barry's music is terrific, Alan Jay Lerner's lyrics are great, and the adaptation isn't bad - this is the whole shebang, the entire show on two CDs.

That's a confirmation then? If so, day one purchase (via my regular retailer).

And the remarks as to the merits of the material are great to hear as well!
Wow! I'm so excited about "Lolita, My Love." It'll be an instant purchase. A ray of light on this very tense and uncertain day, but what a way to celebrate the genius of Mr. Barry (and Mr. Lerner).
Seeing as it's Election Day and percentages and polls are the order of the day... up to and including the excellent Fuller at Fox set (2016?), 74% of the previous 100 Kritzerland releases were film music (the vast majority of which I bought). Since then (70 releases), only about 20% have been film music. My vote is for a return to more film music please.
I would also like to see a return to film music, but I understand it might put a burden on Bruce financially; especially since losing someone like Nick Redman. I could be wrong. I am grateful to Bruce for all the great film scores that he has released in the past.I never would have gotten that marvelous very small score to THE GUNFIGHTER if it weren't for Bruce and his Kritzerland label.

I agree with this sentiment 100%.
Although LOLITA, MY LOVE will be a purchase for me. Can't resist a John Barry musical. It will be only the second show tune album purchase I have made from Kritzerland. The other was STORMY WEATHER. (I've probably bought maybe 3 show tune albums in the last 20 years).
And to that poster who wanted to hear from people who have heard it--the score is magnificent. The title tune is absolutely one of Barry's best melodies, and that is saying a lot.
