Very strange part of my young movie-going experience, this one. Saw it at our local New Canaan Playhouse, then caught up with it again on network TV broadcast, where I was shocked to discover a major chunk of the shipboard production number with Gene Kelly and Shirley which had definitely not been in the version of the film I'd seen in the theater. To this day, I have no idea why.
