I guess I would go with Breakfast at Tiffany's. 2013 was very disappointing for me – virtually nothing I wanted was released. But that's okay, as I still have the high that is Star Trek TOS to keep me afloat a while longer. And it seems a lot of folks are very happy with their purchases this year, so that's great.
I would like to say the number of releases these last couple of weeks has made it just about the busiest stretch I've seen here, and strengthens my hope that these great efforts will continue for many years to come.

I can't argue against that verdict.
Funny, because except for sampling it when it arrived months ago, I've never gotten around to actually listening to the entire CD. From the above, it looks like I should!
And now, 15 minutes later, I've come back to say that I see why I've never bothered to play "I, The Jury" in its entirety. It has to be my least favorite Bill Conti score and I continue to regret buying it. I just can't get into it, and it doesn't help that 10 of the cues are a minute or less. I blame myself for not sampling it before buying it, but I've long been a fan of the composer and just assumed that I was going to at least like it. So, for me, it's startling that anyone would consider it the best release of 2013. Certainly not my pick. Incidentally, I just did a search here and found far more postings from people who had placed their orders than from people who came back to say how much they loved it, although some did. Reluctantly and sadly, I'm just not one of them.
My own choice for the best release of 2013, with my limited experience, would be "Wyatt Earp," although if we can include "QB-VII," it's probably a tie.

In what respect? For not sampling it before buying it? Or for not playing it after I got it? Or for not liking it when I finally did play it and thinking, despite some of the gushes we've read, that it's probably my least favorite Bill Conti soundtrack now in my collection?
