Just finished watching an first episode about an hour and a half ago.

It was "The Treasure of Kalantopuu", I believe.

What a fabulous score. So if this is the average, than I would love to hear more scores from that show.

Would love get my hands on it and that episode score as well.

I haven't enjoyed a TV score that much in a while. Even a movie score.

There has enver been any score release for MAGNUM P.I., except for the theme appearing on the occasional TV theme compilation. I've been craving releases of Mike Post/Pete Carpenter scores for HUNTER and MAGNUM P.I.

Speaking of which, MAGNUM is due for a first season DVD box set from Universal, which is slowly getting around to releasing their television shows.

SPACEHUNTER: Mike Post may be the most popular tv theme composer ever. What's the scoop on him? Has he ever tried the transition to movies or does Hollywood consider just a tv composer? My constant whining about the ENTERPRISE theme by Diane "I can't read a note of music" Warren leads me to wonder, facetiously, if Rick Berman would consider using a Post theme for ENTERPRISE. Didn't Post do the theme for COP ROCK or that Bochco series about DC mice? How about HOOPERMAN or LA LAW?.....with a little synthesizer adjustments, I'm sure Berman would find them ideal for ENTERPRISE.

I'm not sure why Post never made the transition to movies, either if he decided to stay in television or what. I would like to see him do like Lalo Schifrin, though; start his own label to begin release CDs of his various television scores.

Please, Intrada, after your fabulous work on "Buck Rogers", consider releasing a "Magnum P.I."-boxset!
