Crap, looks like I'm late. Question about Disc 2 track 9 (Finale & End Credits). Is the track as it appears in the film or is it truncated?
both yes and no
the end credits was editorial mixes - so on the album it just ends as recorded - no editorial mixed though but they could easily be duplicated with the right editorial skills
Checking this edition--truly deluxe--out for the first time in awhile.
Top-notch recording. If it's a digital recording, it's a really smooth one. I've never heard Silvestri's orchestrations come through quite so well on any other release. Maybe someone could recommend another just as well engineered.
Watched the film again and listened to the Deluxe again. I really wish the film version of Bud on the Ledge was included. The film version has more vocals as Bud is flying with the alien.
