While the score will be available as shitty download in US only, it seems that we are getting the pressed CD in EU!

Shitty downloads are the future ... ! wink

I predict that in 5 years from now there won't be any major releases on CD any more.

nice release, odd art cover (considering all the posters around for the film)

Charming score. Loved the film, too.

Shapiro does a nice mix of traditional melodies and modern soundscapes, always rooting them in an emotionally engaging context.

I saw the film this week and enjoyed it.
It's a bit overlong for the twee story it's telling and reminded me (don't know why) a bit of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Benjamin Button (which it jokingly referenced/parodied).
It was a nice film and passed the time pleasantly enough.
The music was okay, but a bit formless and all over the place, obviously acting as connective tissue to the many anthemic songs that played throughout the film.
Don't think I'd buy the CD but a few tracks from each album (score and song) wouldn't go amiss.

I don't remember that scene on the score cover above ??

I'm really loving the score. We enjoyed the film quite a bit. It should speak to a lot of people who feel trapped in a corporate environment and want to live a little. The rich colors of the score perfectly support and elevate the fantasies of Walter Mitty. And the love theme is beautiful. Teddy Shapiro has a great musical personality. Marley & Me still stands as one of my favorites in the past 5 years.
