Although Legends of Chima is geared towards a very young television audience, the music by Danish composer Anthony Lledo (Screamfest Award winner for his Frostbitten score, released by MovieScore Media in 2006) is very much grown up.
Written in the tradition of big orchestral fantasy film scores and championing strong melodic content and colourful orchestrations, Legends of Chima is a mature symphonic score worthy of any epic story - and certainly a perfect accompaniment to the magical word of Chima. For this album presentation of the best parts of the music for the first season of the show, which airs on Cartoon Network, the composer has compiled a varied and exciting programme, expertly mastered by engineering veteran John Rodd (Elysium).

OMAGGIO A DONAGGIO by ISABELLA TURSO MMS13019/KRONCD032 (KKCD001)
This artistic project is a tribute to Italian composer Pino Donaggio whom, after the experience linked to the world of pop music devoted himself, with worldwide success, to the creation of soundtracks, becoming the reference composer of the film director Brian De Palma. The music of the show, composed and performed by Isabella Turso, are part of a CD released by Kronos Records and are inspired by songs and soundtracks of the Venetian composer, into a classical-pop-jazz atmosphere. In this project, called "Omaggio a Donaggio", these piano pieces become the soundtrack of a video, created for this occasion by the artist and composer Eddy Serafini.
This is also the first CD in the Kronos Klassik Series.

The musical score written by British composer, conductor and orchestrator Nic Raine, whose collaborations include a 20 year work relationship with Iconic composer John Barry, orchestrating the Liverpool Oratorio for Paul McCartney and many more. The score is the perfect marriage of warm and beautiful melodic themes and elaborate brooding suspense music. Nic Raine's deep understanding of the orchestra and innate talent for melody manages to create the perfect soundtrack. You cannot miss having this CD!
