It's #1, Golden Age and some Silver only for me if you please. I'm really only interested in and only collect the likes of Miklos Rozsa, Bernard Herrmann, Alfred Newman, Franz Waxman, Dimitri Tiomkin, Mario Nascimbene, Nino Rota, Elmer Bernstein plus a plethora of noir, historical epic, romantic drama and western scores by others of the era. Of course that extends to silent film works by composers like Huppertz and Davis (modern?). I'm not much enthralled with any Star Wars or Trek and have none of these. I've tried to like the new stuff, but it just doesn't do it for me. Maybe that has to do with my love of historical epic films and the disappointment with scores for the likes of "Troy". "Alexander" and "Agora". Guess I just dream of what Rozsa could have done with these. The moaning and droning do nothing for me. Plus, if I liked the other stuff I'd be bankrupt now.
