I was listening last night. I liked it but wasn't blown away on first listen, and I had other things on my mind. Will listen some more and get back to you.
Of the year's Mandela scores, I think I prefer Eyquem's Winnie Mandela, but they're very different.
I have checked a few cues on the FYC website and so far I quite like what I've heard... Nice mixture of intimacy of First Grader with larger orchestra and more dramatic scoring of Last King of Scotland with a few beautiful symphonic moments thrown in... of course everything depends on what will be exactly included on the album, which I am still waiting for to arrive - hopefully some time next week it should be here
