1. Ninotchka 2. Golden Boy 3. Gone With The Wind 4. Rules of the Game 5. Wuthering Heights 6. Stagecoach 7. The Women 8. The Roaring Twenties 9. Mr. Smith Goes to Washington 10. Babes on Broadway
Edit: I'm switching THE ROARING TWENTIES for ONLY ANGELS HAVE WINGS. Not that there's anything wrong with with ANGELS but Cagney, Bogart, Walsh and gangsters... can't top that!
One of the two or three films starring Maurice Chevalier I actually can stand ! And it's a fantastic one, kind of murder mystery movie directed by Siodmak.
And even though it's two times too many, Chevalier sings only two times in it !
AKA Hollywood's golden year, nine films & a serial:
Stagecoach The Hunchback Of Notre Dame Dodge City Marx Brothers At The Circus Beau Geste The Four Feathers The Man In The Iron Mask Only Angels Have Wings The Son Of Frankenstein Zorro's Fighting Leagion

Hardly a ringing endorsement and yet it ends up in your top five! Erich von Stroheim, Marie Dea, Pierre Renoir, and Maurice Chevalier(!) - this is a film I would very much like to see.
