My final order of this offer turned up at last so I can finally relax none have been lost in transit and say thank you to Lukas, Katie and everyone else at FSM for this incredible offer.

I have a master list of FSM titles I want - I think it's about 160 out of the 250 total, and of those I already had about 65. Well, now it's close to 100! smile

When this offer went live, I noted that there were, ahem, quite a few titles on the free choice list I wanted. So, why not go for the offer... several times.

So, over the course of 4 orders - I did it separately because I could well foresee UK customs grabbing one $400 shipment and charging me as much as I was saving on the free CDs (they did grab 1 of the 4 boxes, the gits, but luckily it was less than one CDs worth of charge) - I bought:

7 Faces of Dr. Lao
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
Atlantis: The Lost Continent / The Power
The Best of Everything
Between Heaven and Hell / Soldier of Fortune
Days of Heaven
A Guide for the Married Man
How To Marry a Millionaire
Ice Station Zebra
I Spy
Jeremiah Johnson
Jericho / The Ghostbreaker
Lili
Logan's Run
A Man Called Adam
Ride The High Country / Mail Order Bride
Robinson Crusoe on Mars
The Thief Who Came To Dinner
THX 1138
Toys in the Attic
Under Fire
Where Eagles Dare / Operation Crossbow

Which got me for free -

Bell, Book and Candle / 1001 Arabian Nights
The Belle of New York
The Big Bus
The Cobweb / Edge of the City
Hunters Are For Killing
The Ice Pirates
John Goldfarb, Please Come Home!
Navajo Joe
Prophecy
Scaramouche
The Space Children / The Colossus of New York
The Wrong Man

Needless to say, I now have a great deal of new and beautiful music to listen to. Thank you again, everyone involved in this offer - it's made me very happy.

I don't have a single Rozsa score in my collection, if you can believe that.

I'm guessing that this box set would be an excellent start?

I finally managed to pick up the Rosza box set thanks to the previous FSM sale and I'm loving the music, but I have to admit that I think the packaging and jewel cases that it comes in are rather annoying and not very well made. I have at least 4 CDs that don't stay in place and were loose upon arrival and the cases themselves come apart rather easily. For such an expensive set, it's not very secure. Plus the booklet barely fits in there and you run the risk of messing up the corners when you take it out. Anyway, don't mean to rant, but wondered if anybody else had the same issues?

Ben Hur had similar problems perhaps even worse. I remember the complaints. FSM's CD making is history now. Sets like this should have been made with top quality material, Japanese style. smile

Enjoy the music! I want this set. I'll get this in the future hopefully under another sale.
