Now that Intrada has released the wonderful "Miracle" (Bernstein)...

I'm dreaming of a release on a CD of its own of another amazing Elmer score: KINGS OF THE SUN.

Maybe also Rozsa's "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid" with improved art and sound.

I would LOVE a 'Deadmen Don't Wear Plaid' release. I'm still patiently waiting for a Morris/Brooks Box Set. Was told back in 2009 that it was coming but I did not think it would take this long!

??? - There's a whole new re-recording of Kings of the Sun by Elmer Bernstein himself:

https://itunes.apple.com/de/album/kings-of-the-sun/id491624853

Improved art? The Prometheus release was more than decent in terms of sound, and overlong to begin with (very repetitive score).

I'd much rather see a Roy Webb album with The Spiral Staircase, Farewell My Lovely and The Window being re-recorded, or a David Buttolph House of Wax and other film music CD. But I'm fully aware that these won't happen unless I myself am willing to finance them. wink

I mean a physical CD, of course, downloads don't count.

Maybe decent in terms of sound, but that "can art" is awful.

???? It's available as a CD, too.

My God, you have issues ...
