I received my copy of Carrie from Amazon Japan today (I live in Australia) and I can confirm it is a pressed disc NOT a CD-R. Very happy with it. Hello, would you possibly please provide the link to the Amazon Japan page that lists this pressed CD? I cannot find it. Also, how do you order it if you can't read/speak Japanese? Also, how long did shipping take from when you ordered it to when it arrived to you in Australia? Thank you very much in advance!

Here is the link for the CD from Amazon Japan - http://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B00GCWDJ3U It is an import of the same EU release, but I chose to buy it from Japan as it was in stock compared to Amazon Germany which has been delayed. I chose the quickest delivery, which took about four days after receiving the initial shipping confirmation from Amazon to reach me in Oz. I dont read Japanese either, but I just copied and pasted sections of the site that were in Japanese into an online translator and just winged it. There is some websites that might have a run down of how to order etc. Hope this info helps. Thank you very much! By the way, about how much did you pay for it? I see a Japanese price. Do you have any idea what that translates to in American denomination? If not, no problem, I'll try to plug that into an online translator as well.

1,613 Yen is approximately 16 USD. Once you place the order you can select to have it charged in USD. Thanks for your help, robbob83.

Here's a new wrinkle: Amazon in the US is now offering a physical DVD. It's listed as an import but also has the DVD-R disclaimer on it (manufactured on demand). (So which is it? Why would a DVD-R be an import?) WTF man, that's a lame release idea ... (sigh)
