Die Hard: The Filmscore Sessions (1988) Starring Gary Cole as Bill Lumbergh, Michael Kamen as himself Riveting, behind-the-scenes action as Bill Lumbergh, Executive Producer, confronts Michael Kamen about his score for the classic actioner! Lumbergh: So Mike, if you could just, uh, switch out “Happy Trails, Hans” and “Aftermath – Powell’s Comeback” with, uh, Scott’s “We’ve Got Each Other” and Horner’s “Resolution and Hyperspace” – you know, to punch up the emotional release and all, that’d be just great, mmk?

PUNCH THAT BIG CACTUS (1992) Keenan Ivory Wayans follows up his lampooning of 1970's blaxploitation films with this homage to the blaxploitation western. When a former slave (Wayans) partners up with cattle Rustler (Jim Brown) and a card player (Bernie Casey), all hell breaks loose as they confront a lawless murderer (Isaac Hayes), a crooked sheriff (John Vernon), and a midget named Leo (Gary Coleman). Pam Grier, David Alan Grier, James Carrey, Kim Wayans, and John Savage as "Greener" This premise is too good for a mere Wayans project. Sure, there's a subtle nod to "Take a Hard Ride", but I think this one should be played straight. Have it filmed in 1973 minus Wayans, and get yourself another midget.
