Wow. ALIEN NATION? Much as I love Goldsmith's score, I'll be the first to admit that this would be at the bottom of a lot of lists of 'scores you'd picture getting more than one release'.
It's more about the first release of the score that's actually in the hit film
Listened to this yesterday. Such a cool score, hovering somewhere between classic Max Steiner noir and a Nathan Van Cleave Twilight Zone score, with Asian elements added to the mix.
Too bad he didn't work more in the US after this (that I'm aware).
So, Bruce, will Alien Nation be another CD, that you can ship quick, or we need to wait for 1.5-2 weeks this time?

We learn from the best! If we'd waited until Monday it would have been the day of the dead for us. But, as sometimes happens with you guys, we actually have the CDs in hand and they're taking up a lot of space and we've got to get them on their merry way. It's rare for us to have the stuff ready to ship. I like the Sobel score, too. I'm usually not a fan of this kind of thing, but like Zimmer's Thelma and Louise, there's just something about the Sobel and especially about the way it functions in the film, which I really like, that makes it appealing to me.
I know it is much too early for clues to what's coming after ALIEN NATION , but I hope you will be returning to the golden age on the next release. I know you said they are coming.
