Not yet, Greg. I'll probably watch the movie again on DVD when it is released to see if I can relate more to the music.

There are at least two tracks on the FYC, not on the official release. Likewise, music on the official release not on the FYC.

Does anyone know the chronological order of Thor:
Ragnarok soundtrack?

IIRC Ragnarok Suite should be at the very end and Grandmaster Mix in the middle (after Grandmaster's Chambers). Otherwise the cd is in film order.

  • At loss with the appeal of this movie (it's rated 92% on Rotten Tomatoes!).

    Aggregate.

To paraphrase a certain Princess: "The Tomatometer is NOT a COMMITTEE!"

I thought this movie was hilarious. It was such a bizarro take on a series that never really worked as well as he could have in the earlier THOR movies. The CG action stuff is what it is, but Taika Wapiti's comedic twists on everything totally made it for me.

Agreed. The score is amazing too. Considering what superhero scores were the last years, what Mothersbaugh was able to pull of is fantastic. Glad to see that is changing now, but this Thor is still a stand out.

Well, my Chris Hemsworth/Thor Ragnarok loving daughter bought the score for this film and has added it to her wee collection of film music. I benefit from it too as who can turn mom down when she asks to borrow it?

Seriously, I enjoyed the score as well and I love seeing my daughter share that appreciation.

Note to Thor and Carson...notice I raised an old thread.
