We coulda had 18 goals but chelsea got 1 and thats all that mattered.
Chelsea know they have been in a match but no good if you cant put away chances.

Down to tenth. Can i moan yet?

Feel free Bill-o, that's what this thread is forwink

Decent win for Liverpool last night, couple of good goals. Was hoping the mancs were to drop points, but they got their usual lucky late goal after being absolute dross for 90 mins. Van Haaaal getting away with murder!!

Tougher period ahead for united. At some point their average performances have gotta be found out.

Liverpool looked sharp - sturridge and henderson look so on fire.

West ham still tenth.

Good result for leeds.

Another spitting row.

Winston reid - after having one foot out the door for 6 months, signs new 6 year deal.

One of those games where you want them both to lose...

He-he. Now just for ManU to miss the top four. Five clubs going for two places (I think it's safe to assume that Chelsea & ManC will be the top two), & all five are in form. ManU have been winning, but they haven't looked good. Another manager?

Boy was I hoping 10 man PSG would score their 2nd goal and get through. That'll wipe the smug look of wee Jose's face. Wasn't a sending off and Costa was his usual gimp self. Best team won!

I didn't see the Chelsea game, but when I got home and found out the result/saw the lowlights, I was gutted to see such a likeable and classy 'champion of fair-play' team get dumped on their arses by 10-men, despite their most valiant efforts!
Really, football can be sooooooo cruel sometimes.

Succinct match report from Oblicno (he won't mind me showing it here...)

"The Chelsea match was ace - i was just getting updates on five live. Cahill thought they'd won it, then the equaliser, then extra-time. Brilliant. laughed me head off."

I was right. 3 goals and 3 points for arsenal.

Proper slump now. Its official. 1 league win in just under 3 months.

And no sign of the phelpsmeister since mar 4th?!
Has he gone off football?

Well, I'm pleased he got the sack. I like Gus (from his Leeds days) and can now go back to wanting Sunderland to go down. I wonder if Dick (pour me an) Advocaat will make any difference...

He becomes the third Dutch manager in the premiership and there'll be four if Derby go up this year!
