Decent win for Liverpool last night, couple of good goals. Was hoping the mancs were to drop points, but they got their usual lucky late goal after being absolute dross for 90 mins. Van Haaaal getting away with murder!!
He-he. Now just for ManU to miss the top four. Five clubs going for two places (I think it's safe to assume that Chelsea & ManC will be the top two), & all five are in form. ManU have been winning, but they haven't looked good. Another manager?
Yes, good to see the chickens come home to roost for the mancs and Van Haaaal. Wellbeck specifically. Their next run of games should tell us all we need to know...

Boy was I hoping 10 man PSG would score their 2nd goal and get through. That'll wipe the smug look of wee Jose's face. Wasn't a sending off and Costa was his usual gimp self. Best team won!
I didn't see the Chelsea game, but when I got home and found out the result/saw the lowlights, I was gutted to see such a likeable and classy 'champion of fair-play' team get dumped on their arses by 10-men, despite their most valiant efforts! Really, football can be sooooooo cruel sometimes.
Succinct match report from Oblicno (he won't mind me showing it here...)
"The Chelsea match was ace - i was just getting updates on five live. Cahill thought they'd won it, then the equaliser, then extra-time. Brilliant. laughed me head off."
Well, I'm pleased he got the sack. I like Gus (from his Leeds days) and can now go back to wanting Sunderland to go down. I wonder if Dick (pour me an) Advocaat will make any difference...
He becomes the third Dutch manager in the premiership and there'll be four if Derby go up this year!
