Nothing wrong with your choices Josh. Sublime listening IMO.
AaC's comment was pompous and I was mildly irritated by it.
I'm sure he didn't mean to come off that way. A&C is an open-minded (and eared) gent. I read his comment more as a spirited appreciation of Prokofiev than a disparagement of others' choices.

First listen to Morten Harket's new album. First impressions are that it's a stronger effort than his last outing from a couple of years ago...
Looking forward to see him live at a festival in my hometown this summer. A pity Backstreet Boys are playing the same night, a band I will absolutely not see. :-O
Jon - Did you go to see Morten in concert? How was it?
It was a bit disappointing actually. He didn't play any A-ha songs, only solo material, which is mostly not as strong. Best song was the always lovely Spanish Steps. Also, it was extremely hot and he played at mid-day so everyone were kind of lazy.
I think he's very much conscious about not playing a-ha songs in his solo shows -- almost like he wants to distanciate himself from that part of his career. Especially now that a-ha is no more.

Yeah, that seems to be the case. I guess he thinks he has enough solo material that people are familiar with to make his set. I went to see him a few years ago when he was touring his previous solo album, and he performed half a dozen a-ha songs then. This seems to be the setlist he's been using for these summer concerts, with the occasional variation...
