To be honest the Negan character has gone on a whole season too long. And now theyve dragged it out to the next.
The worst kind of scriptwriters stretching out a dead donkey.
Somewhere along the line these producers of shows that start well get so conceited they think they can do whatever they like to their audience. In the end, plot twists become passe and readable because they do the same shit all the time. Eugene messing with the ammo was guessable three episodes ago. And before the finale started i thought Surely they wont have the front to keep negan alive for yet another series? But they did. When once-great shows start to irritate me i know its time to phase them out.
There was a time when id stay up till 2am sundays to get the next episode of WD in time with u,s. How times change.
As much as I'd love to see him dead, it's worth pointing out that the lock-up of Negan comes directly from the comics. I like the fact that it causes a rift in the group, with Jesus, Maggie and Daryl now in Rick's opposition. Curious to see how that will play out.
Yeah, I've lost interest, I recorded the last program & wizzed through it. Negan should really be dead & they should part from the graphic novels (I'd think a very small percentage of the viewers who actually read them) It's too late for me, but I have got the first few seasons to re-watch & enjoy. I notice it's looking grungier than it once did.
Saw the first episode of FEAR THE WALKING DEAD tonight, and it picks up right where current season of THE WALKING DEAD ends. If you didn't already know, Morgan is the cross-over character. FEAR still maintains the great, intimate quality of the first few seasons of TWD, and it shows in this great episode. So if you've lost interest in TWD, I recommend checking out FEAR (but start at the beginning).
I bailed on this series when Negan 9 Lives took it down the toilet, but am I right in thinking you can only watch it now in the UK if you subscribe to Disney+?
