bit of a dead day on nfsd.

big game for liverpool tonight.
a few goals and a win would really help their season.

mr koeman getting very irate with nigel clough and his Sheff utd bench last night, although by the sound of it they called the 4th official a four letter word!! Nothing surprises me about sheff utd - they were testing the water recently to see how the world would react to the news they were gona give their rapist a chance to train with them - well they soon found out what the world thought of their lack of moral compass. Horrible club horrible people, will be glad when somebody knocks them out.

single or double post? ooh the excitement!!

I was going to post this in the latest Sainsbury's WWI ad thread, but I know it will be "properly" ignored here, among true English (and Algerian) gentlemen:

I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious Sainsbury's Coronation Chicken sandwich I ate while in London in 2010. I've read up on the stuff and apparently it's considered "retro", which is now a pejorative description. I don't care what today's materialists say, I could always go for a Coronation Chicken sandwich.

West Ham 2-0 over Leicester 71 minutes in. Andy Carroll continues to score for Bill's Hammers. I'd love to see your lads in the Champions League next year, Meester Carson!

Delighted for Bill - and to see Leicester adrift.

In other news, it's a rare week that I don't have coronation chicken in a wrap with some greenery for lunch on one or two days.

About to watch Leeds on the telly at the City Ground. We need to start putting chances away, and quickly...

lets get serious (that should be a song) - we are doing okay but we needed 3 points because getting much from chelsea and arsenal will be tough and therefore thats our last points till ny!!
offensively we look decent, defensively ok - but tomkins and cresswell still have a blunder a game in them.

i still think we will get worse as season goes on, not better - and several teams who are playing below par in first half of season wont carry on that way - arsenal, tottenham, everton, liverpool and probably newcastle cannot play as bad as they have for another 4 months. So i am expecting teams to slowly overtake us.
Nice while it lasts. Champions league? No chance. Europa league? outside chance.
Ninth?? more likely.

good result for villa and southampton.

p.s my mum has coronation chicken sandwiches.
Not my scene, dont like curry.

good point for Leeds! scrappy. Leeds up to 18th. not great but better than bottom 3.
given the turmoil, its not bad.

More than happy with a point. Two goals wrongly disallowed, I hope this is the game that turns our luck.

71mins gone and liverpool been a bit unlucky to be 1-2 down.

"At the end of the day today, the best team will take 3 points" - alan 'fake' pardieu before Sunderland beat his Newcastle 1-0.

It really depresses me watching LFC at the mo!
You said 'unlucky' to be 2-1 down Bill, but I think it was depressingly predictable.
Arsenal were shite, let's be honest.
Liverpool walked all over them first half but the minute we grabbed a goal, we conceded one seconds later through shit, comical defending (arguably the worst defence in the Prem at the mo plus two useless goalies!).
The Arse were 2-1 up without actually doing anything...another goal gift-wrapped for Chrimbo!
Okay, Skrtel grabbed a point (and made amends for his part in the two goals/shite defence) but at present, it's gonna be a long, cold winter for LFC while our defence sucks so bad and we have no one who can score consistently (Suarez***weep***Sturridge***sob).
Shit, I sound like you last season Bill! wink

i hear what you are saying kev but a point against arsenal, altho they arent great, isnt bad, given where you are.
You did create a lot more chances than arsenal it was just that final touch from lucas or sterling or moutinho that stopped it being 4-1 and outasight.
Thats a lot better than ive seen them play this season and all will be alright when the cream custard arrives. Well, sturridge back from injury. Expect them to finish stronger as season goes on kev.

btw how many times did lucas get dispossessed on halfway line strolling like a fart in a trance??
He needs to sharpen up in games like that.

And arsenals first goal was a foul, scorer put hands on defender's shoulders.

Okay, so the goals were indeed flying, but two shy of my bold prediction. I'm as edgy as a Zimmer score with these predictions o'mine.

Well done to your boys again btw Bill.
While it may only have been Leicester at home, you've certainly got the habit of winning!
Sam Allardici indeed.
