Id settle for a draw, at the very least no high scoring collapses that bugger our goal dif even more.

I think Man City, Man Utd and Liverpool will be relatively happy with the Champs League draw. They all should have a decent chance to progress. Bit harder for Spurs and Chelsea.

Also, Maureen having another whinge after losing a match that the City players were celebrating too much in the dressing room. Took the hump with Conte when Chelsea beat them as well. He's not slow to rub it in whenever he gets a decent result. Going on his past behaviour, he can't really claim a lack of respect.

I think he does that to take the attention away from his own players. In a way he's doing a good job - his name in the headlines instead of his players.

Hardly a revelation - This is an age-old Jose tactic and much discussed by pundits over the years. Somebody must have told Garth Crooks coz even he repeated it once. Smoke, mirrors, storms in teacups, tantrums, accusing referees, chuck it all in, stir some more, and you have deflection pie!! smile

Yup, you woz right 0-0, in fact the only surprise on the night was Liverpool dropping points at home to WBA. As usual it's going to be, who's going down that's more interesting than who's going to win.

Hammers showed surprising defiance - also evident in chel n city games.
In the end they were unlucky to hit the bar and have a fair shout for a penalty turned down.
Draw was fair considering arse struggled to create too many chances - also funny that arsene moaned that west ham stuck numbers behind the ball and only defended. Shouldve done better with our two clear cut chances.

It amuses me that Mr Vain (Pards!) was brought in by the baggies to play more attacking, expansive football and yet they haven't managed to score in his 3 games so far. Tosser!

Mr Vain - i like that.
ventriloquist Nina Conti's talking jaw and teeth that she puts on audience volunteers - all look more like pardew than Pardew does!
Wish i could post a picture of it. smile

If a manager dislikes the opponent's style of play, then develop a counter strategy and obliterate it! That's what Bayern Munich did to Pep the Genius' "Ticky Tack" style in the 2013 CL semis. (7-0 aggregate, in case anyone's forgotten).

Just saw the Stoke West Ham score - 0-1 - and thought 'that's Hughes sacked by Christmas'. Then I saw that it was only half time due to the earlier power cuts!

Hughes has 45 minutes to save his job I reckon.

0-3 to West Ham. Looks like Mark Hughes will be the sixth PL manager to get the sack this season.

To lose 3 zip at home to West Ham, I imagine he's screwed. I'm a bit surprised he's lasted as long as he has, their record over the past 18 months or so has been awful. Probably cause he's buddies with chairman Peter Coates. Hope that is it for him now, he's a whinging miserable prick with a huge ego always happy to blame anybody but him.

Watching the 2nd half of Citeh-Spurs, and can't help but think that Spurs have slipped up by not giving Winks the No.40 shirt.

City cruise past pretenders Tottenham 4-1.

Even with five (five!) excruciating months of the Premiership season left to go, it appears as though thread favorites Manchester City have the EPL all wrapped up. We know Liverpool won't catch them, nor will any other side.

In witnessing Pep The Genius Guardiola's magic with City, it begs the question: Can you imagine the heights he could have reached with West Ham or Leeds United? All it took to get City rolling was 12 months and millions of £££££££££££.

Think of the possibilities. wink

Chelsea chased Man-Utd in 2009/10 from 13 points back to win by a point. Nothings done yet.
